We support our local Cardinia farmers and community growers.
CCFH is committed to working with farms in the Cardinia Shire to promote local agriculture. A list of local farms can be found at the Cardinia Farm and Food Directory.
Local Food, Local Farming, Local Health.
CCFH is part of the wider Cardinia Food Circles project and is committed to working together with the community to solve some of the most pressing challenges our local communities are facing in food, farming and health.
Our major sponsors committed to make this happen.
The Food Hub is a regional initiative made possible by the Cardinia Shire, the Cardinia Food Circles Project, led by Sustain: The Australian Food Network, with kickstart funding thanks to the Victorian Government, and in partnership with Hopeworks Community Solutions.
We are expanding our partnerships to collaborate with emerging community gardens and school-based agri-projects in Cardinia to enhance access and knowledge of locally grown food.
Come and see, taste and learn.
CCFH is located in the heart of Pakenham at The Lime Box Café and is a community space (with amazing coffee) where growers and eaters can come together to support our local food system.
Stay connected (subscribe below) and participate in local Chef-led culinary/demo events, seasonal Cardinia produce displays, cultural-food and agri-talks, "Meet the Farmer" explainer sessions and much, much, more....
We aim to create a lasting endeavour that forms a community focussed local food initiative, from farm to fork, and paddock to plate.
Don't just be an observer or even a subscriber... be a SUPPORTER for positive change.
